A modern take on the classic silhouette
When I saw that pleated pants we’re back in, I was excited because I have athletic legs that tend to fill out the slim/ flat front pants too much. Before dropping in on an expensive pair, I Thrifted an old-school one, but got discouraged by how Seinfeld I looked. It took a long time of me seeing these pants in catalog for me to try them but am glad I did. They maintain a modern sleek silhouette that I’m used to while giving room when needed and the single pleat offers a nice style.
I wore these to a formal event and got plenty of compliments, but I’m really looking forward to wearing them more casually with a sweater as well.
I got size medium, and am a typically but 33 or 34 waist depending on where they will sit on my hips. The lighter wool can go from season to season effortlessly.
