A really, really good piece. Despite its flaws, it's a great jacket on sale, but it's hard to justify at full price for most customers.

In 2022, I purchased two Corduroy Dylan Jackets and instantly fell in love. The color, the fabric, and the fit made them my most worn pieces in the fall and winter months. I loved them so much, I said in my review that they were, “one of the best mens jackets on the market.” So, when Todd Snyder revealed that they had taken the same jacket, with the same look and fit, and made it with an Italian water-resistant fabric for the spring months, I knew I had to buy it. Interestingly, TS is positioning this product in a market segment that is currently wide open. If you were to look for a stylish, versatile, water-resistant, travel/daily jacket for the spring/summer months, you really wouldn't have too many quality options. So, is this jacket a must-buy in a growing market segment for menswear? Does it carry on with the success of the well-received corduroy version? Let's find out.

Pros

* Color is ridiculously versatile. It's in that shade of deep navy/black, which means it can be paired with basically anything and looks good on anyone.

* A guy at Target said, "Dude, I love your jacket." My tailor said, "That's a really nice jacket." And my co-worker said, "Your jacket is really cool." I've never gotten this many compliments on a piece. So, if you're wondering if it's as stylish as the corduroy version, the answer is yes.
