Guanábana Tula Bag in Navy Grid

Guanábana

Size

Inspired by traditional Wayuu knapsacks — the tribe of Colombian artisans who hand-crochets all of Guanabana’s woven bags and accessories — the Tula is a favorite of ours for its versatility (and its striking look: peep the navy grid). The long strap lets you wear it either as a crossbody bag or backpack, and the round base and open top (which cinches shut) provide a lot of storage room. Toss in a water bottle, sunglasses and your book of choice the next time you’re headed out for a bike ride, hike or a day at the beach.

Guanabana’s boho-chic designs are the realization of founder Almudena Espinosa’s dream to make a lasting positive impact on artisan communities. Founded in 2005 and based in Madrid, the brand’s entirely handmade styles showcase both her Spanish heritage and the techniques of Latin America. Fun fact: the name is an ode to Almudena’s favorite fruit, also known as soursop.
