Merino
Soft and dense. Before technical fabrics, merino was prized by alpinists for its warmth, lightness and durability.
ALPACA
It has a handfeel similar to cashmere, and the wool comes from a South American cousin of the llama.
MOHAIR
Lustrous and warm, the wool comes from the Angora goat and has a brushed, fuzzy appearance.
Cashmere
This is a triple threat as it is softer, warmer and lighter than typical sheep’s wool.
