These Chucks really are worth spending more than the standard pair. The insole alone is worth it. I walked 18 miles in these the first day I had them, and they still look brand new. The only rub is... the tongue. It keeps slipping to the side, or all the way down to the bridge of my foot. Maybe I got the wrong size, or maybe I'm not lacing them correctly, but I shouldn't need to think about these things. However, making it work with my outfits and very satisfied.

I mostly wear Chucks, out of force of habit as much as anything else because the quality of the basic product has fallen off notably in the last decade. These are much better made, and more comfortable, and were something like the same price after a price drop. I'd buy them again.
