Like a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup, this versatile layer combines two things our design team loves--a chore coat silhouette with on-trend quilted outerwear in this mash-up of technical outerwear and workwear. The silhouette is based on a vintage piece of French workwear and features two hand, one chest and a single interior pocket. The camo patterned shell is made from a Japanese nylon and filled with Primaloft. Primaloft has the look and feel of down, but some prefer it because it was developed in the Eighties for the US Army as a synthetic alternative to goose down because goose down was not waterproof, and didn’t retain enough heat when it got wet. Design details include gun metal, snap buttons and vertical quilting. A great fall piece that you’ll be able to wear (and layer) deep into winter.
