The influence of WWII on American culture is still alive and well today. Case in point: this special version of the naval N-1 Deck Jacket, designed in collaboration with the experts at Dehen. Constructed from a sturdy, waxed canvas outer shell and featuring a luxurious shearling lining, it represents the very best in military-inspired outerwear. The waxed finish is water-resistant, and the sheep hide interior is exceptionally plush; the sleeves are lined in a felted flannel, for easy on and off. Warmer and more substantial than anything in its class, this jacket is built to last a lifetime of wear and tear.

Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1920, Dehen Knitting Company makes classic, rugged American clothing designed for varsity athletes, motorcyclists and more.

Best, Warmest Jacket ever!

I live in a climate too warm to make this jacket a necessity, but I had to have it! The combination of shearling wool with a thick waxed cotton exterior was just too much to resist, as these are two of my favorite textiles. The jacket is beautifully made, sturdy beyond description. The shearling is plush, the interior of the jacket perfectly crafted with poly fleece lining of the sleeves, making the jacket easier to get on without sacrificing warmth. The only thing I would change is the throat latch at the collar, which wasn't quite long enough to button without significant effort. This jacket looks and feels great with humility. You could wear something more expensive, but not better made or suited to the purpose of staying warm in truly terrible weather. This item hits the Tod Snyder sweet spot of practicality and luxury. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
