Todd Snyder X Sabah Leather Slip-On in Dark Green

Todd has partnered with the experts at Sabah on this limited-edition take of their classic leather slip-on. Handmade by master craftsmen in Turkey and inspired by traditional shoes from the region, these are exceptionally versatile and comfortable. The durable leather uppers are cut from premium, drum-dyed cowhide that ages beautifully. In this limited edition version, local Turkish artisans have added an embroidery across the top of every upper known as saraç stitching, a technique traditionally employed to embellish horse saddles and harnesses, to give them a unique look.The uppers are then hand-stitched to a water buffalo insole with a replaceable rubber outsole – making these slip-ons uniquely comfortable as they form to your feet and durable with soles that can be replaced as needed over a lifetime of wear. The soft leather lining is comfortable with or without a sock. Lightweight, packable, and relatively quick-drying, Sabah’s slip-ons also make for the perfect travel shoe and pair just as well with twill chinos as they do with lightweight linen.

Founded in 2013 by Mickey Ashmore out of his New York City apartment, Sabah’s traditional leather shoes, handmade in Gaziantep, Turkey, have acquired a cult following for their versatility and comfort.

• Brush off any debris with a soft, damp cloth. Apply leather cleaner and conditioner, in that order, with a soft cloth. Allow to dry and then buff off the excess with a clean, dry soft cloth.
