Inspired by vintage mountaineering gear, this parka will keep you warm in the face of winter’s worst. The Japanese nylon exterior is water repellent, with a quilted duck down clocking in at 700 fill power (ie. super warm, but not too bulky). Fill, if you were wondering, measures how many cubic inches of loft a single ounce of down produces — the higher the fill, the greater the insulating efficiency. Aside from packing serious heat, our Mid Down Parka is loaded with old-school design details, including two oversized patch-and-flap pockets with hidden hand warmer pockets and a stand collar at the hood (to shut the cold out). In short: wear this coat to stay warm and look stylish…even in a polar vortex.

Nice coat, great fabric. Size large shirts fit me best and I got a medium with room to space. Good layering piece, or size down if you want a more slim fit.
Inner cinching waistband broke the first day when trying to cinch it. Not the end of the world, but pretty poor quality control. It's effectively a shoelace where something more substantial like a braided or thick waxed cotton material would be much better suited.
I like the style of the coat and it is lightweight I am happy with my purchase
The styling and fit of this coat is fantastic!
I purchased this parka while pondering, "Do I really need another piece of winter outerwear?" However, the price was too good to pass up.
In hindsight, the answer to my question has been a resounding "yes!" This parka fills a significant gap in any cold-weather wardrobe. It's modern and has a lighter feel compared to other parkas at a similar price point (originally $998). I've already tested it against an eleven-degree wind chill in Minnesota, and the outcome was clear: Parka 1, Wind Chill 0!
