Mr. Luca Rubinacci came up with the idea for these loafers after failing to find smart yet comfortable formal shoes — a shoe that is delicate, soft and designed to balance the ease and comfort of a slipper with the durability of a traditional loafer. Handmade in Italy, these loafers feature an upper made from soft, woven Italian leather for a touch of texture and the signature Rubinacci tassel. A rubber heel gives the leather sole added traction. Because these are only available in full sizes, if you take a half size we’d recommend going up to the nearest whole size.
Rubinacci was founded in 1932 by Gennaro Rubinacci. Today, the world-renowned European atelier is run by the third generation of the Rubinacci family.
