"Outerwear is one of my favorite types of clothing to design and wear. The fabrics Bellandi makes help bring my ideas to life in a way that celebrates American style and heritage Italian craftsmanship," says Todd.
Founded in 1961 in Prato, Italy, Bellandi is a family-owned mill that cares so much about the region’s artisanal heritage that when a nearby mill, which makes the highly coveted Casentino wool, was going to close a few years ago, they took it over.
“Our fabrics are more than just materials — they are the expression of a philosophy,” says Chiara Bellandi, who is the third generation in the business and the company's Brand Manager. “A coat made with Bellandi fabric is made to last.”
