        We’ve long loved the comfort and versatility of quilted jackets, but we wanted something that looked a little cooler than your garden-variety puffer. So, Todd took the rugged silhouette of a vintage mountaineer’s jacket from the 1960s and gave it a modern refresh with a diamond-quilted nylon exterior that’s made from Italian fabric. The filling is down, so you can wear this layer deep into winter (and keep comfy with a ribbed collar and cuffs).

        The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

          Perfect but...

          The jacket is perfect. The only problem is the size guide. I hesitated before ordering because of the crazy measurements that I saw on this size guide. If you look at it, you will think : that's an oversized jacket. It's not. I took a risk because it was too crazy to be true. I bought size M as I usually do : it's a perfect fit.
