More than a shirt but lighter than a coat, this jacket combines the best of both worlds. It’s made from a ruggedly handsome linen-and-silk basketweave fabric that comes to us from Italy and is light enough to wear when it gets actually hot out, not just warm. It looks excellent all on its own or worn open over a t-shirt as a light layer. Tailored details include four pockets (two at the chest and two at the hip) as well as genuine horn buttons and adjustable cuffs.

Honestly, I do like it. It's just a bit thin and flimsy.. For the price, the quality and craftsmanship should be better IMO.
Contrary to the other reviewer, I thought that the fabric was pretty substantial and that the jacket was well constructed. I thought it would be too shirt like, but it did have some structure. The fabric is a beautiful brown, textured linen and silk that feels very nice.
The issue was the fit. The pattern is kind of weird and seems like it would only fit a very specific body type. The jacket has a drop shoulder, but then a very high armhole and narrow arm. As a result ,the shoulder doesn’t really feel aligned and bunches up. The body is really wide and straight (maybe even flared?), which isn’t the most flattering. I think the latter issue can probably be fixed by a tailor but the former struck me as unlikely to be fixable, so I returned the jacket. It’s unfortunate because I thought it was otherwise really nice.

This 'shirt' jacket strikes a balance between casual and refined, its upscale, paper-thin fabric gives it a sleek, lightweight feel that's perfect for spring/summer/autumn, while the quality buttons add a polished touch. Versatile enough for both smart and laid-back looks, it elevates simple outfits. To call this a 'shirt jacket' does not mean it's casual feeling, I guess since it's so light they called it this but the cut and the lack of stretch in the material make it more like a jacket; other shirt jackets that are frankly strikingly more comfortable than this one. Also, the delicate fabric is more prone to pulls and blemishes, so it demands more careful wear and storage to maintain its sharp appearance. The color of this item also doesn't pair well with everything, I don't think light jeans would give you the best look. I also noticed that the hand pockets are sown shut but you could remove that and use them I believe. I've decided it could worsen the look so I didn't remove the sowing. The overall quality of this piece is on par with the TS brand. PS> I'm average sized and went with a medium.

I was a little leery about ordering this jacket from the reviews, but decided to take a chance, and am glad I did. The fabric is wonderful, and the chocolate color is perfect for Fall, and even Spring. The boxy fit is fine - ordered a M, and with a light sweater underneath, filled out the jacket perfectly.
