Oddly cut
The fabric on these pants is quite nice, but the fit is completely bizarre. They have a dropped crotch, which is potentially fine, but they're also cut slightly slim in the hips, which makes the elongated shape drape and move awkwardly. The ankle adjuster is an interesting detail, but it seems like it would mostly get in the way. This was a return for me, alas.

Hi Jacob,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Italian Cavalry Twill Utility Trouser. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the fabric quality, but we're very sorry to hear that the fit and cut didn't work well for you. We understand how important proper fit is, especially when it affects how a garment drapes and moves, and it's disappointing when the proportions don't align with your expectations.
We recognize that the dropped crotch design combined with the slimmer hip cut creates a specific silhouette that may not suit everyone's preferences or body type. When the proportions don't work together harmoniously, it can indeed result in an awkward fit and movement, which impacts the overall wearing experience.
Your detailed feedback about the fit characteristics and the ankle adjuster detail is valuable to us as we evaluate the design and proportions of our utility trouser styles. Understanding how different elements of the cut work together helps us refine our approach to tailoring and design.
We appreciate you giving the trouser a try and hope you'll find other pieces in our collection that better suit your fit preferences.
Best,
The Todd Snyder Team
