        A luxe essential, in cashmere Donegal. Soft, warm and lightweight, it’s just the thing to keep your head and ears warm, but not itchy or overly hot. “Donegal,” which is named for Donegal County in Ireland, refers to a technique where small pieces of yarn in different colors are woven in at random to create a soft, heathered effect. It features a foldover edge and a slightly higher-than-usual crown to balance out the chunky rib stitch.

        The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.
