This cozy oversized cardigan is knit from an Italian blend of wool and alpaca, and features a scaled-up heritage Woolrich plaid. The silhouette is made for wrapping up in, designed to hit roughly at mid-thigh, with a full shawl collar, horn buttons, and a belt to cinch it shut.
Woolrich has been part of the fabric of the American outdoor lifestyle for nearly 200 years; the company provided blankets to Union soldiers during the Civil War and designed the Arctic Parka that kept Admiral Richard E. Byrd warm on Antarctic expeditions.
