Our premium Selvedge jeans are imported Japanese denim that comes to us from a boutique mill in the Okayama prefecture where the denim was woven on an old-shuttle loom, loaded with quality, vintage-inspired details, including a shank button fly and gunmetal rivets. There are also genuine selvedge outseams; when you turn up your cuff, you’ll spot that giveaway red ticking at the edge. Our Slim Fit is trim (but not tight) at the top and tailored through the thigh, tapering at the ankle. Dyed a classic indigo before getting patched and distressed, these jeans are an homage to all the vintage jeans Todd’s known and loved. PS: each pair comes with a raw selvedge hangtag; keep it, and you can patch any wear and tear down the line.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.

I ordered a second pair of these because I love them so much. They are comfortable, fit true to size, and while there are lots of intentional abrasions, they don’t feel like they’re going to rip through anymore right away. They do run a little long for the size stated, but I like that, allowing me to roll up a cuff.
