Mr. Luca Rubinacci came up with the idea for these ‘Marphy’ loafers after failing to find smart, yet comfortable formal shoes.A shoe that is delicate, soft and designed to balance the ease and comfort of a slipper with the durability of a traditional loafer. Hand made in Italy, these are crafted with a deer leather outer and malleable leather sole, and finished with a leather tassel on top.
Rubinacci was founded in 1932 by Gennaro Rubinacci. Today, the world-renowned European atelier is run by the third generation of the Rubinacci family.

I tried them on when they arrived. The fit was good, comfortable looked nice even with jeans . But I'll only wear them with dress slacks.
