        Following close behind tweed, cord and flannel in the fall classics lineup: the cable knit wool sweater. Todd’s given that fairly thick stitch — introduced in Ireland in the early 20th century by fishermen — a modern update this season in our new Channel Crewneck. The soft, lightweight wool yarn is knit with alternating rib and reverse jersey stitches for a clean, vertical stripe. If you only get one new sweater, make it this one; with a chic rib-to-roll trim, a classic fit and lots of colors to choose from, it looks great with everything from pleated trousers to denim.

          great utility, fairly priced

          Received and packed the Chinese-made crewneck 24-hours before a nine-day slow burn across The Four Corners region.

          Almost immediately, the garment's gaunty quality matched the absence of Winter in the Intermountain West. No snow. Not even bracing cold.

          Just the same, I made myself more presentable, employing the airy TS sweater over a collared shirt for dining experiences and bespoke lounges in Sante Fe and Taos.

          Not bad, not great

          It's a nice looking sweater and very flattering, however it shed like crazy and left black fuzzies all over my other clothing and is kind of itchy. I'd be hesitant to wear it against bare skin due to itchiness.
