Our premium Selvedge jeans are imported Japanese denim that comes to us from a boutique mill in the Okayama prefecture where the denim was woven on an old-shuttle loom, loaded with quality, vintage-inspired details, including a shank button fly and gunmetal rivets.There are also genuine selvedge outseams; when you turn up your cuff, you’ll spot that giveaway red ticking at the edge. Our Slim Fit is trim (but not tight) at the top and tailored through the thigh, tapering at the ankle. They’re sulfur-dyed a washed-out black with minimal sanding that’s designed to break in naturally over time for a vintage, worn-in look. PS: each pair comes with a raw selvedge hangtag; keep it, and you can patch any wear and tear down the line.

These jeans are perfect. I love the wash and the fit. The slim description is not your typical slim. They fit nicely and are not too slim on me. There is no stretch to this Jean either which I prefer. I know I’ll have these timeless jeans for a long time. Great style with a nice jacket or dressed down with my Birkenstocks.
This is for hard to fit. I wanted a Jean that fits not “up to my belly button”. This fits lower and has just perfect stretch, and nice fit down leg. Does Not bag or feel stretched out. The feel is that of a very good denim. Absolutely love them. I have bought many pairs, but this is crazy good.
Tall, thin people are hard to fit. This brand has been my go to for years. But with new design changes, nothing fit and/or looked nice.
Make sure to take some time and read the size guide for guidance on fit. Once I found the right size for me, I no longer care to ever take them off.
The jeans are great! They fit well and look good too.
Beware of the sizing of these jeans. I ordered a 32x30. Waist is now measuring 34.5” instead of 32”. I’ve previously bought other Selvedge Denim jeans and they have all measured 32” in the waist. Material is great but they have changed their sizing. After several back and forth emails with customer service and 2 exchanges, I’ve decided to keep the jeans and have them altered to the correct waist size that it should be. I guess 32” does not mean ~32” anymore. They offered to pay for the tailoring services. They also seem to not want to acknowledge the sizing differences until I showed them the proof.
For reference, I’ve purchased the Light Grey and Whiskey color in the Slim Fit Selvedge Denim.

For this specific style, the size guide for the size 32 waist shows a true measurement of 34.5".
