This easy layer combines two of Todd’s favorite things: a sporty silhouette and a sartorial Japanese fabric. The latter is a gabardine, a type of twill worsted wool first introduced in the late 19th century. Consider it an alternative to a bomber jacket, perfect over a tee when it's warm out and a sweater when it's not. Lightweight, breathable and durable, our take is a transitional weight 4-ply wool with perfect structure and drape. Details include a versatile two-way zipper front and four pockets: two at the hip, with separate side-entry options. The clean, short, slightly cinched-in silhouette is on-trend and looks great styled with a pair of chinos.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.
