Our Wythe Trouser is a casual take on the traditional pleated trouser in a modern, oversized but tailored fit. A natural waist and double reverse pleats (which face out, away from the fly) lead to a relaxed fit through the legs for a vintage-inspired look. It’s crafted from an Italian gabardine, a type of twill worsted wool first introduced in the late 19th century. Lightweight, breathable and durable, our take is a transitional weight 4-ply wool with perfect drape. Wear with a Point Collar Shirt and suit jacket when you’ve got something formal on the calendar, or dress it down with a Sweater Polo.

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.
The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.

Had to get both colors because I knew I would love how their trousers fit me.
Love the feel and the way it fits my body perfectly!
The Wythe Trousers are very comfortable, with the pleats giving you tons of room when moving or sitting. The fabric drapes nicely and resists wrinkles. The fabric is mid-weight, which works almost always where I am. If you want a winter pant for 30s and 40s the fabric may be too light.
Design will be personal but here is my take: if you have pleats you need a wide leg. Otherwise it looks like you're precariously balanced. If you want a narrow leg skip the pleats.
I would prefer side adjusters to the belt loops.
Sizing is consistent with the size guide. About right for Todd Snyder but won't necessarily translate from other brands. I'd say the number sizing runs a little smaller than the letter sizing but that's just a guess.
Todd is reinterpreting iconic styles/fits from the 1950's which were later reinterpreted in the 80's by Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren.
The longer rise and fuller leg of The Wythe is really flattering especially when paired with a snug top (shirt, polo, T, sweater, etc).
The pant drapes beautifully in the Italian gaberdine. Sophisticated but easy to wear and comfortable. Dress it up or down.
Look great feel great!!
