Love it
Not a jewelry wearer, but when I read the reference to my favorite book, Just Kids - I figured $125 was it. Glad I did - very simply and understated, but with a lot of meaning. I love it.
$125
Inspired by a passage in Patti Smith’s Just Kids, her National Book Prize memoir. As she stood at Irving Plaza, mesmerized by Jim Morrison’s performance, she had a realization:
“I had a strange reaction watching Jim Morrison. I felt that i could do that. He exuded a mixture of beauty and self-loathing, and mystic pain, like a west coast Saint Sebastian." (Just Kids, pg. 59)
*Please not that these are one of a kind pieces, composed of vintage charms from the 1920s, 30s and 40s.

Was taken by the description and the story behind the necklace - inspired by a passage from Patti Smith's book Just Kids as she was watching Jim Morrison. And now taken by the detail of the medal and tree. This is my 2nd piece and won't be the last.
