    Batten down. Our Short Parka is inspired by vintage puffers. The name of the game here is utility, so this practical piece is loaded with functional details: a hidden 2-way Vislon zipper, plenty of pockets, a drawcord hem and Velcro cuffs to block out the elements, and a full hood with a cowl to keep your neck toasty. Speaking of toasty…the exterior is a retro plaid nylon made by the experts at Olmetex (a world-renowned mill established in 1954 in Italy’s Como region), and it’s filled with a 90/10 fill power down, perfect for staying warm during the depths of winter.

    Bubble - Licious!

    I am in love with this Parka! I’m a 5’5” female and only 100 lbs. and the XS fits a little loose. It’s okay that you don’t make it smaller. It’s so comfortable. I have been searching for the “right” winter jacket for at least 3 months. As soon as I saw this, I just knew it was me. I don’t drive, due to epilepsy, so all my shopping is online. I lucked out. Walking my dog is fun, warm and fashionable! Thank you so much. Oh, and all the zippered pockets. And so well made. So happy…

    Spot on!

    This coat is phenomenal. The design, quality, style, fit, attention to detail and functionality are all spot on. As I write this, it is a freezing week in NYC (12F windchill). I have taken a few multi-hous walks through Central Park with just a flannel shirt underneath the parka and have been warm, comfortable and completely protected from the elements. There are an abundance of functional pockets and the hood unzips leaving a high, and very cool collar. The buffalo plaid is true to Woolrich's roots but is very on trend. This coat is a home run.
