The balmacaan itself is a Scottish style, named for an area near Inverness where it’s thought to have originated in the 19th century. Our take honors the classic fit — long and relaxed, raglan sleeves, a true topcoat. Details include two patch-and-flap pockets at the hip, a self-fabric belt and adjustable button cuffs.
