Mr Luca Rubinacci came up with the idea for these ‘Marphy’ loafers after failing to find smart, yet comfortable formal shoes.A shoe that is delicate, soft and designed to balance the ease and comfort of a slipper with the durability of a traditional loafer. Hand made in Italy, these are crafted with a suede leather outer and malleable leather sole, and finished with a leather trim and bow on top.
Rubinacci was founded in 1932 by Gennaro Rubinacci. Today, the world-renowned European atelier is run by the third generation of the Rubinacci family.

I was aware of Rubinacci and their sterling reputation throughout Italy and London and was thrilled to see that they had formed a partnership to release their Marphy Loafers with Todd Snyder. I received my first pair earlier this week and could not have been more pleased. The fit, construction and overall quality was exceptional. I have since ordered two additional pairs and plan to buy more just as soon as they are available for purchase.
Fit is a little large. I had to go down a size but these are gorgeous!
Very nice and comfortable. I really like the color combination.
