Mr Luca Rubinacci came up with the idea for these ‘Marphy’ loafers after failing to find smart, yet comfortable formal shoes.
A shoe that is delicate, soft and designed to balance the ease and comfort of a slipper with the durability of a traditional loafer. Hand made in Italy, these are crafted with a suede leather outer and malleable leather sole, and finished with a leather trim and bow on top.

I was aware of Rubinacci and their sterling reputation throughout Italy and London and was thrilled to see that they had formed a partnership to release their Marphy Loafers with Todd Snyder. I received my first pair earlier this week and could not have been more pleased. The fit, construction and overall quality was exceptional. I have since ordered two additional pairs and plan to buy more just as soon as they are available for purchase.
Was wandering through the store a few days before my wedding and saw these on the shelf. Every guest commented how much they loved them and they were comfortable throughout the night of dancing. Easy way to dress up less big day outfits.
I saw these and couldn't help but order them, fully expecting to return them once I confirmed they didn't fit right (usually the case for me and my EEEs). But much to my wallet's chagrin, these loafers are out of this world and fit amazingly well. The quality is exceptional. I look forward to rocking them at weddings and galas for years to come.
