As elegant as casual gets, our Madison Suit Jacket represents the epitome of soft tailoring. The fabric is an Italian gabardine, a type of twill worsted wool first introduced in the late 19th century. Lightweight, breathable and durable, our take is a transitional weight 4-ply wool with perfect drape. It has a classic fit, with a natural shoulder and a slightly nipped-in waist. Details include a double vent in the back and a lightweight butterfly lining. There’s also a chest pocket known as abarchetta(Italian for “little boat”) because the sleek curvature of the pocket resembles a small skiff. Oh, and did we mention there are matching pants, too?

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.
The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.

Jacket arrived in time and was the perfect choice.
I got this with the matching Wythe trousers, and have no regrets. The sizing is true, and the silhouette is a nice middle ground between full-on relaxed or slim fit. I’m usually a 44L, and it’s a bit larger than a 44L from Spier’s neo cut. It’s just large enough to pair well with the relaxed Wythe trousers, but I could see it going equally well with more classic-fitting pants. The material is incredibly fluid and comfortable. It’s my first gabardine suit, and I’m hooked.
