The Alden Shoe Company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Alden has manufactured exceptional men’s shoes for over 120 years. The top grade smooth suede used in the uppers is selected from the finest tanneries in the world and then hand-stained and polished to the classic patina that is the hallmark of the custom bootmaker's art. Natural leather lining and a leather sole complete the look.

Alden continues their partnership with Todd, creating this exclusive, tonal tassel loafer. This style comes black kid suede all over, featuring leather lining and a leather sole.

Runway Collection:
La Buena Vida | Vintage Style

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.

    Worn In, Never Worn Out

They’re not cheap. They’re not trying to be. But these Alden Blackout Loafers—there’s something about them. They fit like they already know you. Like they’ve been waiting in the closet of your life, ready for the right moment.

There’s elegance in their simplicity. No flash, no noise. Just clean lines, deep black leather, and that quiet kind of confidence that doesn’t need to announce itself. I’ve worn them with worn-out jeans and with sharp black slacks. Both felt right. Both looked right.

And the best part? They wear in beautifully. With every scuff, every step, they look better. They mold to you. They remember. These aren’t shoes that fade—they evolve.

They’re not trendy. They don’t care about that. These are shoes that stay with you—through cities, through seasons, through scenes you may or may not remember. And like anything worth having, they age better than you do.

You put them on, and it says you thought about it. You made a choice. And in a world that moves too fast, that still counts for something.
