Our traditional chore coat gets an update in a sartorial Italian fabric; think of this as “tailored workwear.” The basic silhouette — clean lines and three patch pockets — remains the same, but we’ve updated this utilitarian classic with a butterfly lining, slimmer fit and a slight lapel roll at the collar, all elements more typically found in a sport coat or blazer. And about that fabric: woven from a blend of wool and cotton, the earthy herringbone pattern is overlaid with a windowpane for a unique look. There’s a matching pair of Officer Trousers, but we like it best all on its own with denim or a pair of chinos, layered over a mockneck or crew.
I usually get an xxl in Todd to keep a good layered look, but I took an xl in this when I stopped by the East Hampton store. I couldn’t have asked for better service and a better more versatile piece. Can’t wait for my next purchase

It was too large for me so I exchanged it for the medium, which fits perfectly. Can’t wait to wear it. The pants are true stove pipes. Home run Todd Snyder.
Very nice piece. It feels great and the quality is excellent. 4 stars because it is hard to find things to match this. I bought it without the pants. It feels stuck in between casual and formal.
