About Todd Snyder

Todd Snyder makes effortlessly good-looking clothes for the 21st century gentleman. Blending traditional tailoring with a downtown aesthetic, the collections are modern, relaxed and always impeccably constructed – everyday luxuries that will stand the test of time.

Designed by Iowa native Todd Snyder (whose name means “tailor” in Dutch), the line’s classic all-American aesthetic is inspired by Snyder’s Midwest roots, blended with Savile Row craftsmanship and the urban energy of his current home, New York City. Every garment – from outerwear to shirting to elevated athletic gear – reflects a commitment to quality and integrity, as well as the belief that well-made, perfectly fitted clothes make the man.

The collections are informed by heritage yet updated for the way we live today, with an emphasis on versatility and comfort. Our suit jackets work as well with jeans as with a matching trouser; our shirting can get dressed up or down; and our smart sweats, designed in partnership with Champion, are built for utility and style. (In fact, so many customers told us that their wives and girlfriends loved borrowing their Todd Snyder sweats that we recently launched a line for women.) As team players and strong proponents of living well, we frequently collaborate with our favorite legacy brands to bring you the very best of American craftsmanship in the form of shoes, luggage, watches and more.

Todd Snyder is available online and at department stores and boutiques in the U.S. and around the globe, including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Ron Herman, Nordstrom and Barneys New York, as well as at the Townhouse, the brand’s first concept store in Shibuya, Tokyo. Since launching the line in 2011, Snyder – an industry veteran who cut his teeth at Ralph Lauren, the Gap and J. Crew – has been named one of GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers and nominated as a CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, fashion’s top honor. Brand fans include David Beckham, Ryan Reynolds, Rob Lowe and Will Ferrell, and the clothes have been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Esquire and GQ, among many others.
