Despite the description there is no cotton, its shell and lining are “100% Polyamide.” Also not waterproof. Besides a good looking windbreaker I’m not sure what it’s good for.

Water-repellent items have a surface coating that makes water bead and run off, suitable for light rain, while water-resistant items have a more substantial physical barrier like a dense weave or membrane that can withstand moderate water exposure.
