Great alternative to the Traditional tweeds and Gun Club Checks that come out every fall/winter. It gives a good nod to those heritage looks, but in my unqualified opinion, the muted colors and soft tailoring on this coat make it feel a little less costumey and much easier to put into regular rotation. Simply said it looks like a sports coat, feels like sweater, travels well and fits and number of styles.

44R fits midway between classic and slim in comparably priced brands

I was not smart and purchased this blazer in 38R. This size works for me in SuitSupply suiting but here is a touch too tight. I would have fit perfectly into a 40R. This is my fault for not using the suggested sizing and doing my research. The actual blazer is light, less structured, a bit on the slim side (more Italian/Euro fit than the trendier roomy fits coming in now) and a bit of a blue gray, lighter than I realized. But a beautiful piece, and for a machine made stitch, excellent.

Great fabrics, etc., but I wish your jackets and suits were more structured. I know that is not your aesthetic, but there are many of us who prefer that look to the slouchy no padding, no canvas jackets.
