Stiff Denim
True to fit on size and jeans look nice, but wow these are stiff. Even after multiple washes they don’t have give and have an artificial feeling, if you scratch them it’s like scratching carpet. Not a comfortable wearing jeans.

Hi Robert L.,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our Slim Lightweight Japanese Selvedge Jean.
While we appreciate your positive comments about the fit and appearance, we understand your concerns about the fabric's rigidity. Japanese selvedge denim is traditionally known for its robust character and does require a break-in period to develop its unique characteristics. The stiffness you're experiencing is typical of authentic selvedge denim, though we acknowledge this may not align with your preferences for comfort. It's recommended to wear them for 3 to months to break them in and washing when needed for the denim to soften a bit.
Best,
The Todd Snyder Team
