This elevated crewneck sweater is made entirely from linen, and has the classic dry handfeel and subtle, lustrous look. The ombre effect is created by parallel knitting two solids in at the same time, which results in the long striations between smoky gray and pale beige — it also means every sweater is unique, and will be slightly different. The detailing at the neck (a wide rib that transitions into a crocheted rolled edge) is one of our favorite details. Heads up: This sweater has a relaxed silhouette, but the nature of the linen yarn means it will grow a little over time for an even easier fit.
Todd’s Spring/Summer ‘25 Collection takes its name from Gerald and Sara Murphy’s house in Antibes, where they hosted Picasso, Cole Porter and F. Scott Fitzgerald. These looks represent a modern take on the unhurried, creative lifestyle of the 1920s, mixing the pastels of the 80s and 90s, Anglo-American tailoring, and the Milanese drape for a chic slouchiness and an easy, wearability.
