This overshirt is a modern, pared-back take on the classic field jacket, neatly straddling the line between shirt and outerwear. Traditionally made from lightweight cotton in khaki hues, ours is crafted from an Italian gabardine, a type of twill worsted wool first introduced in the late 19th century. Similar to a bomber jacket, this overshirt is lightweight, breathable and durable. Our take is a transitional weight 4-ply wool with perfect structure and drape. However you wear it — buttoned up or open, with denim or a pair of our trousers — the vintage-inspired silhouette calls to mind the leading men of Hollywood’s Golden Age: timeless, rugged and stylish.
