This luxurious dress shirt offers a refined update on a closet essential. Expertly constructed for the perfect fit, it’s crafted from cotton poplin in a classic black pencil stripe, which comes to us from Italy, by way of the fabric experts at Thomas Mason. Point collars, by the way, are a bit more traditional than spread collars — and they’re actually the same length, but the points themselves are further apart in a spread collar. This shirt is bound to become your new go-to for any occasion that calls for putting your best foot forward.

Founded in Lancashire, England in 1796, Thomas Mason makes some of the world’s finest cotton shirts. Patterns inspired by archival British textiles meet luxurious Italian fabrics in a 225-year-old tradition of innovative and refined excellence.

Nice fabric

Bought for 18 year old grandson who loves the feel of the fabric and nuanced black color. He’ s 6’4” 207 #. 16” neck is bordering on too small but nice shoulder fit. Body large on him, sleeves long enough, but not to show cuff.

Manufacturing sources

First, love your brand, style, cut quality and that the vast majority of your products are made in US, Canada, Europe etc all places where ethical standards are typically adhered to. And I have tons of your clothes as such. However, as you have grown I have noticed more and more manufacturing in China, Vietnam etc places know for poor labor practices. This shirt put me over the edge. Great collaboration of 2 trusted brands so I bought without questioning and sure enough good style fit but was disappointed to note it was manufactured in Vietnam. Where as a few years it would be Portugal or Eastern Europe. I get it but it’s disappointing. Now, I did buy on sale but would have paid full price or at least more as I like the quality or at least that is what I go to TS for. Please take a look at your labor sourcing and see where you can better optimize labour, quality and ethics. It just makes the clothes feel better. Thanks for asking.
