As elegant as casual gets, our Madison Suit Jacket represents the epitome of soft tailoring. Both easy-wearing and sharp, it’s what the Italian courtier, diplomat, and author Baldassare Castiglione must have had in mind when he coined the term sprezzatura to describe effortless nonchalance. It’s crafted from soft, brushed Italian cotton with a hint of stretch for maximum comfort. It has a classic fit, with a natural shoulder and a slightly nipped-in waist. Details include a double vent in the back and a lightweight butterfly lining. There’s also a chest pocket known as a barchetta (Italian for “little boat”) because the sleek curvature of the pocket resembles a small skiff.

I am a 46 Long
This jacket’s sleeves were 4 inches too long.
Had to go to a tailor.
Otherwise, nice jacket.

Classic suit coat with a nice out-of-the-box size. It, of course, requires tailoring, but overall has a nice fit. The material is nice, I wish it were 100% cotton, perhaps of a finer type.

I typically wear a 40L in TS in ordered a 40L. For reference, 6’4”, 190. I tailor my suits from TS, but this has a more modern cut, and fit perfectly right with no tailoring. Great for a casual night or less formal office setting. Really pleased with the quality, as always,
