This is our laidback but luxurious take on a classic blazer: no stuffy padding, no hot lining, only tailored, rakish charm. It’s made from a midweight Italian wool that’s woven in a traditional Prince of Wales check, also known as a Glen plaid. This sport coat features details characteristic of Neapolitan tailoring: a natural shoulder, double vents and a chest pocket known as a “barchetta,” the Italian word for “little boat,” because it resembles the curve of a skiff.

Jacket for some time and this was the one that felt exactly right. The lapel lays just as it needs to, the double vent is a sign they didn’t cut corners, and the choice of material matches competitors but at a better price point- particular against a similar jacket from RL. Knowing Todd Snyder cut his teeth at RL made me like this jacket even more. And the hidden touches like the dressier breast pocket design elevates this jacket. And the service I received at the boutique was what I expect from a men’s clothier such as this.
My sport coat arrived as advertised. Fit is perfect fabric beautiful construction excellent. I will enjoy wearing this piece time and time again.
I wear this sport coat practically every day. Maybe that’s because from the fit, to the material, the styling and versatility, nothing about it is “everyday”!
