The 4-ply weave is a little tighter than traditional hopsack but still breathes beautifully — in other words, a versatile option for 3-season wear. Love the look, but required over $100 in alternations as the sleeves were to long and the body to full even though I ordered my size of 46R. Most sites that sell sports coats and/or suits offer sizing in regular, slim or extra slim. Given the NYC vibe thought it would have a slim (most people) but instead was oversized to accommodate larger person. Makes no sense to me.

Disappointing

Probably have at least 7+ TS suits, sport coats, and this one was highly irregular and disappointing in terms of fit. I’m always a 42R, and this was way too wide and long. Fabric is terrific, which is why I gave it 2 stars.

We're sorry to hear that this sportscoat did not workout for you. Kindly note that this coat has a more relaxed fit than the other coats you've purchased which have a slimmer fit. Our Sutton sportscoat would be a good coat to look at as it has a slimmer fit similar to the previous coats you have purchased.
