If you want a better chino, sometimes you have to design it yourself. That’s what Todd did here by pulling together the key elements of classic chinos he’s known, worn, loved and lost over time. The fabric, which is imported from Japan’s famed Kuroki Mill and made on old-style shuttle looms, recreates the dry-yet-soft feel of a vintage military khaki. The details are old school, too: button fly, on-seam pockets, back Besom pocket with button closures, melamine buttons and a coin pocket on the waistband. The result is the chino for the chino connoisseur — perfect for work, weekend or whatever.

Nice basic for the wardrobe

This is pair of classic khakis whose substantial fabric and solid construction promises to wear in nice and be enjoyed for years. Someone on here suggested sizing up. I almost dod, but stuck to my usual, 31, and i'm torn about whether i should have. The fit is a little tight at the waist, not excessive, and i love the drape everywhere else. I was pleasantly surprised by the light-brown tone. I was turned off of khakis for years by their emergence as a uniform for a certain kind of tech oligarch (Bill Gates), but these don't look super Gap-y. Also, if it's important to you to show off the selvedge signature, you might size up on inseam. Take two rolls of the cuff to show up.

Excellent pant

I wear my Japanese Selvedge Chino Pant in Khaki almost every day. They are comfortable, durable, and look good. I wear Todd Snyder pants every day. It's worth the cost.

Great Chino

The material and fit of these are incredible. It’s the best chino I own— far above J Crew or Bonobos, for example. I have other chinos from Todd Snyder that are just okay— but these… these are top notch.

Excellent material, tight in the waist

Amazing chinos with great material. Unfortunately they are very tight in the waist. Could not exchange as these are final sale.

Quality Khaki

I have three pairs of the TS selvedge chino pants. A great elevated everyday piece to your rotation. If you are concerned about sizing, go up 1” for the best fit.
