Donegal is having a moment, and it’s easy to see why. The flecked, heathered yarn can take a straight-ahead sweater and lend it texture and a certain tweedy sophistication. Our Donegal Crewneck is made from lambswool that has a soft handfeel and a medium weight. Design details include a saddle shoulder, so the sleeve appears to connect to the collar in one seamless stretch of wool. This sweater is warm enough to wear on its own but still fitted enough to layer under a topcoat when temps really start to dip.

It’s a nice sweater, true to size. “Donegal” wool it isn’t; as noted it is made in China. It is not made from Donegal wool - it is a Donegal wool style.
