An elevated take on a classic utility shirt. Crafted from chamois fabric — which takes its name from a type of antelope in the Alps, speaking to its practical, outdoorsy origins — this shirt is soft but substantial. The midweight cotton fabric comes to us from Portugal; it’s made by weaving a thicker and thinner yarn together for a unique high-low effect. With a slightly roomy fit designed for layering, it looks excellent worn over a long-sleeved tee, one of our Favorite shirts, or a cashmere turtleneck. Workwear detailing includes the double-needle construction and a patch-and-flap chest pocket.

That might be my fault. I thought it would be good for air conditioned indoors, but it’s too heavy for that.

Nice soft, lightweight material. I ordered a size down so it wouldn’t be too baggy, since a 23” vest is usually a regular large fit. I’m pairing it with off-white jeans for cool summer nights out.
