This Sanders derby wears very similar to the Trickers Robert shoe. And the fit is nearly identical, took the same size and very happy with that. I do not think this shoe runs big compared like for like with typical English shoes and the overall length is a bit shorter than the Robert.

The main differences between the Trickers is that the Robert is an unlined whole cut and this Sanders is has facings over the vamp but the thickness feels roughly the same while being lined. The Robert also has a celastic toe and this one is unstructured and for that reason I actually prefer this shoe over the Trickers by a small margin even though the Trickers is probably a bit higher quality leather.

Bought a second pair in the other color and this sale price is an absolute steal with the extra % off. I would have just paid the sale price had I been able to handle the shoe rather than waiting for the black Friday sale.
