The cotton fabric of these soft piled socks is modeled after vintage sweatshirts. For a more similar look, each sock is knitted with Raffy yarn, uneven yarn produced by blending 25% of cotton waste in long staple cotton. To maintain the unique uneven feel, the yarn is slowly spun at Japanese factories with a spinning method that has not been changed for over 50 years. The irregular surface is not seen on modern mass-produced products, adding a retro feel like vintage sweatshirts. The zig-zag pattern is inspired from the USAFA’s sweat pants made between the 1980s and 1990s.
Crafted and designed in Japan. RoToTo uses traditional and modern manufacturing techniques, to create the ultimate cool-comfort sock with the tag line - have a good feel.
