Wool Plaid Knit Jacket in Saddle Brown

As a regular Todd Snyder shopper I’m used to a huge and completely unreliable size variation from one item to the next, but the sizing of this coat is out of control. I typically wear a size medium in TS coats but based on the size chart I purchased a small, which was still outrageously large. I looked like a toddler standing on another toddler’s shoulders inside a trench coat. It’s a bummer because it’s definitely a beautiful coat. Size way down from your normal size, I promise you will still have room to layer… and layer… and layer…

This jacket is absolutely beautiful. I own expensive pieces in my closet, that cost way more than this, yet this is one of the most beautiful pieces I own. Truly a piece of art, this is the highest quality wool plaid “shacket” you will find on the market. The colors just pop. Listened to comments and sized 1 size down , fits perfect. I am 5’10 170 lbs, very broad shoulders, slender build… M fits great

I haven’t been this excited about a new addition to my wardrobe in quite some time. This jacket would be amazing at retail, but on sale?? Ridiculous! Great look, great feel, great quality, incredible value.

Some notes: yes, it runs insanely large, as others have pointed out. Thankfully, I took their advice and ordered a L. I normally wear an XL or even a 2XL depending on the brand/cut. The L fits perfectly, and looks good both with a long sleeve tee and with layers. If you’re looking for something to throw over a short sleeve shirt, then this probably isn’t the right jacket for you. It’s unlined and too scratchy on bare skin for my taste. But if you’re wearing sleeves, it’s perfect. 👌🏻

I liked the colors and look of the jacked and when it arrived I was not disappointed. It fits well and I ordered my regular size. I’ve warn it quite a bit and it’s not scratchy.

Amazing coat. The XL is a little long in the arms for me, but loving this coat!
