Love it and love the unusual color for a desert boot.
Since buying these grey Nomad Boots, I now have three pairs of them. I’ve the grey, olive, and tobacco colored variety. I love this style boot, the chukka boot. It’s simple, yet refined, can be dressed up, or down with ease, and is so comfortable, it’s like wearing a pair of timeworn slippers all day long. Todd Snyder did this style boot justice! The thick, squishy, bouncy (like a rubber bouncy ball I’d play with as a child) sole to these boots make them extremely comfortable, and give an unexpected pep to your step. My back and knees feel so much better when I wear a pair of these, thanks to their awesome comforting sole. The leather to these boots is thick, yet extremely supple, and the suede is finished with just enough fluff to to be luxurious, but not so much as to be difficult to care for. I sprayed each pair with a waterproofing spray, to make caring for them easier, and that’s about it. They look great with khakis, jeans, more casual dress pants (think chunky wool, or corduroy dress pants). Back to this specific color, the grey, it is as it appears in photos, a bluish grey. I had hoped it would be as in the photos, and I can attest to them matching the color one sees on the webpage. It is a dark, steely, greyish blue,. If you’re looking for a charcoal grey, this isn’t the boot for you. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for these in different colors in the future!
Love these boots so much, I've bought one in three different colors now! I'm not sure why they're called great...?? but, great color! These boots are so comfortable! Sized down to the 8 from my usual 8.5, and they fit perfectly.
