Nothing says summer like a great linen shirt. Washed linen feels as good as it looks — airy, cool and soft, with a subtle texture. Ours comes from the experts at Baird McNutt, one of Ireland’s oldest and last remaining linen mills. The silhouette and detailing on this shirt echo our bestselling Camp Collar Shirt: a single chest pocket, straight hem, side seam gussets and locker loop at the back. It’s cut in a slim fit with long sleeves for a clean, tailored look. Piece-dyed and washed for exceptional softness, this shirt is bound to become your new warm-weather staple.

Smaller end of sizing run not accurate / Linen is scratchy

This one was a disappointment for me. I initially ordered a small and it was way too roomy in the body and sleeve holes were set too low. Additionally there didn't seem to be much of a waist in the cut and there wasn't much to validate the idea of this being a slim fit. With a 36.5 chest at 171cm I though a XS would surely do it, so I returned the small and reordered the XS. Set the shirt aside thinking it should be correct - left for a vacation, got busy with life. Surprise. shoulders still to wide for 36.5 chest, body too long, and this is the most generous slim fit shirt I have ever worn. I can't imagine this fitting anyone seeking an XS - it's really a standard cut 38 chest shirt. Since time had gone by I figured I had eaten the cost on this one so tried a light drying to tighten it up. Still not good. Also, whatever bespoke linen manufacturer the cloth came from is nothing to write home about - scratchy out of the bag, scratchy after on wearing, scratchy after a wash. My bad for not trying on and returning. And I guess you get what you pay for with linen.

Hi Timothy,

We're sorry to hear that this shirt did not workout for you. Kindly note that we offer a size chart providing front chest measurements for shirts on all product pages in order to assist before making a purchase. We have not heard of our linen being scratchy, but a fabric softener during laundering may be able to assist.

Best,

The Todd Snyder Team

Amazing Quality

This shirt is a very high-quality linen shirt. The slim fit medium is flattering (I'm 6'1" @ 170lbs) and navy goes with so many combinations. Great addition to the wardrobe.

Not very soft

Size of awkward, not soft at all. Fabric is too thick to be worn in summer.

Perfect fit1

I bought this shirt, but I was a bit skeptical on what size to buy, because TS clothes can run small in certain styles. I am 5'9' and I weigh 170lbs. I knew what look, and fit I was looking for, and lucky for me, the MED fit perfectly!
