I love these pants and now have them in almost every color. The color Clay in particular is eye catching. The fabric weight is perfect.

Your favorite 5-pocket pants get an upgrade for summer. The fabric, imported from Italy’s renowned Sondrio mill, is a luxurious linen-cotton blend. Soft but sturdy, it retains the best elements of both fibers: lightweight and breathable, but not excessively prone to wrinkles. Tailored with a slim, easy-wearing fit, classic details include a zip fly and a coin pocket at the wearer’s right hip — perfect for work, weekend, whatever. The ideal warm-weather pant? Quite possibly.
Tucked away in the heart of the Alps, the family-run Tessuti di Sondrio mill was founded in 1895 and is one of Italy’s most experienced and revered cotton fabric weavers. The region’s incredible resources play a part in the creation of the mill’s exceptional product. It’s no surprise, then, that the Sondrio philosophy marries a drive towards innovation with respect for nature.

Even though these say slim I wouldn't describe them as being really tapered below the knee. There's a little tapering, but to me they fit someplace in between your traditional slim/skinny pant and pants that would be described as regular cut. If you're looking for more of an extreme taper below the knee I don't think you'll want these.
Love these pants. Very unique color and comfortably material. They are slightly baggy so I would probably size down one notch if I bought them again, but overall they look and fit perfectly.
Love the fabric and grain of the fabric. Feels premium. Nice slim fit but not too slim. Has a slump fit that just works. The color is lovely as well
Pay attention to the listed measurements when ordering these insanely soft, perfectly colored chinos. I was looking for something that was a bit lighter than an autumn-only dark maroon and this clay color is exactly what I wanted without really even knowing what I wanted.
I am a 36-38 in most pants but the 38 was huge on me. Cavernous-huge. Even the 36 is slightly roomy but it's really just stacking the deck for some incoming holiday weight. This is a great 3 season chino, and realistically a year-round pant for my NorCal area.
