"This workwear-inspired third piece is an update on our popular Bedford Cord Chore Coat. The silhouette is inspired by a vintage carpenter’s jacket and sports four pockets: two at the chest and two below, with shank-style buttons — like the kind you’d find on a jean jacket. It also features double-needle stitching at the seams for better durability. The fabric is Bedford Cord, which is not as ridge-y as classic corduroy; it feels more like cotton canvas. Here, it’s been screen-printed with images of traditional pottery, inspired by designer Michael Graham’s travels. This is a great style to wear under a coat when it’s frigid, layered over a sweater when it’s cool, or as a chic alternative to a windbreaker or sport coat when the weather’s mild.
“The Artifact Collection” is a limited-edition collab by Todd and Michael Graham, founder of Savant Studios, a Brooklyn-based store, design studio and creative hub. Graham has quilted, embroidered and painted a handful of core Todd Snyder styles, turning them into wearable works of art.
Please note that each item is a one-of-a-kind, hand-embellished in Brooklyn, and may not be an exact match to item pictured.
